Logline: How a mother desperately tried to save her only male child from
Roman soldiers massacre. .
Synopsis: Under Herod’s orders, Roman soldiers began killing such said below
two year old male children.
It is an atrocious portion, most notably around the village of Bethlehem. The
village people were truly frightened. The people of the village could not bear
seeing their children killed before their very own eyes. All this happens under
commander Rufus, the leader of the soldiers. Ben is the one year old son of
Elishwa and Eshwa. Eshwa died in a fight trying to save his son. Elishwa ran
astray fearfully trying to save her child. She lost her husband she could not bear
to lose her child too. All around the area, it is awful the sound of children’s
parents grieving and the sight of the children’s dead bodies. Elishwa was caught
one time prior, but in the end she escaped with the help of an old man. In that
situation the child began crying. She is trying to control her child’s cry. She knew
they had to escape even if it meant taking more risk.
Finally was she saved her child or not ?
India the second largest film making country in the world producing around 1500 movies every year with subjects varying from love, romance, family, action, adventure etc does not produce movies on the Christian culture.
Christianity a great religion which preaches the importance of Family, Love, sacrifice and humility is not given importance in the films made in India. I believe that, the goodness of Christianity if properly presented to the Indian filmgoers will have a great response.
I have conceived a story CHILD MARTYRS OF JESUS [English] with Indian Artist and Technicians. A story which talks about the sacrifice and love a mother shows towards her family and the GOD equally. This story is set at the time Jesus was born on earth.
Like the saying every difficulty has to move in the face of honesty. I have believed in myself with faith in my abilities and a reasonable confidence. But for presenting my thought on the screen I have few restrains and among them primarily is the Funding support for presenting the story on the Celluloid.
